ITP SUPPORT is more of a website than a blog, but it is still great.  Started in 2012, here in Australia as a way of sharing information and gaining support from other people who have ITP.  ITP SUPPORT is also for parents of children with ITP.   The great part about this website is the forum attached, offering patients of every age (even a separate area for teenagers) to talk and share stories and thoughts.

ME MYSELF AND ITP is a UK ITP blog from Katie Meloy. I’m writing this BLOG to keep a record of everything that has happened to me and help vent and channel any bottled up emotions and anger I may have, rather than attacking my nearest and dearest.

I aim to raise as much awareness as possible for ITP. The more people that hear about ITP and other auto-immune diseases the better.

I found this Blog JUST FRANCIS while looking at pictures and infographs on Pinterest.  JUST FRANCIS is hard to find by searching for ITP Blogs at it is not solely dedicated to ITP.  There are some great articles on here about ITP including one from Francis’s sister Royann about living with ITP in the family.  It is so important to remember that having ITP affects those around us in significant ways.

Obviously this website is our favorite itp blog.  We could not have written a post about itp blogs without including it.  ITP AND ME was established in 2010 by patients of ITP who were after more than just medical analysis and numbers and counts. ITP AND ME is Australian based and currently run by Meg Brewster, an ITP patient of more than 7 years. While the website specialises in Australian information and support, there is something for everyone from all over the world.

She was diagnosed with ITP in 2012, and while we have almost adjusted to the disorder, its nice to know people who have been struggling for longer are still finding it a crazy ride. Thanks for the info re more ITP blogs…
