November 2012 – I sleep a lot.  8 hours is not enough, 9 is about normal, 10 is a good night, 11 if it is the weekend.  I don’t try to sleep this much.  It just happens, my body likes it and is good at it and will get it any time it can.  I am tried almost all the time – perhaps because my body is constantly fighting an imaginary virus – my own blood.  Or perhaps I am just lazy?

Is it a symptom of having an Auto immune disease?

Do others suffering from ITP need as much sleep as I do?

May 2015 – Yes.  A lot of patients now are coming out about their ITP fatigue and general tiredness.  Most ITP patients sleep long hours when they can.  And are exhausted if they can’t.

Hey Felicia, thanks for the comment. In my opinion and experience the gym would be absolutley fine for a Pl count between 30 and 50. In fact I think exercise is a really great part of your treatment program. I don’t however go to the gym exactly because I find there are often too many people, and it is quite choatic and high energy for me. I prefer long walks and short runs and yoga at home or at a yoga school. These activities are still great exercise for me, while also calming and kind. Let me know how it goes for you. Cheers.

Superb blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any tips? Many thanks!Pelham Roofing Services, 3509 Highway 52 W., #D, Pelham, AL 35124 – (205) 377-4277
