November 2012 – I sleep a lot. 8 hours is not enough, 9 is about normal, 10 is a good night, 11 if it is the weekend. I don’t try to sleep this much. It just happens, my body likes it and is good at it and will get it any time it can. I am tired almost all the time – perhaps because my body is constantly fighting an imaginary virus – my own blood. Or perhaps I am just lazy?

May 2015 – Yes. A lot of patients now are coming out about their ITP fatigue and general tiredness. Most ITP patients sleep long hours when they can. And are exhausted if they can’t.
